If the mower crosses the boundary wire, it immediately reverses. On the wireless model, GPS tracking alerts you if the mower exits a designated zone. The anti-theft alarm activates if the mower is lifted without entering the PIN code. The auto-return feature brings the mower back to its dock when battery is low.

The YG-RM04 runs for up to 70 minutes per charge and recharges in approximately 1.3 hours with the included 3A fast charger. The YG-RM01 runs for 45 minutes and recharges in about 1.5 hours. Both models automatically return to the charging dock when battery is low.

The charging station should be placed in a covered, protected area — under a porch, gazebo, or a dedicated weatherproof cover (sold separately). The mower itself is IPX5 waterproof and can mow in light rain, but we recommend keeping the dock sheltered from direct rainfall.

Y&G mowers include collision sensors, a lift sensor (auto-stops blades when lifted), and a tilt sensor. The blade is recessed within the chassis and cannot be touched unless the mower is lifted. However, we recommend keeping children and pets indoors or away from the mowing area during operation as a general safety precaution.

All Y&G mowers include a rain sensor. When rainfall is detected, the mower automatically stops mowing and returns to its dock. This protects the lawn from compaction and the mower from unnecessary exposure to heavy rain. Mowing resumes automatically on the next scheduled cycle.
